The puzzle site indicates a solution will be posted the same day as the puzzle, but I cannot access samurai sudoku puzzle published 20120526 Thinker. Where may I find it to check my problem areas?
Marion, the solution to the weekly Samurai Sudoku is on the Solutions page: http://www.djape.net/solutions/
I am looking for the solution for the Samurai Sudoku puzzle your site posted on Saturday 5/16/12. I have tried clicking on your weekly Samurai Sudoku solutions, but nothing downloads. It is not the same puzzle as was published in this 5/27/12 Sun. Wash Post. Do I have to use a social media website to access the solution for the Saturday puzzle?
Where are the puzzles for 26 June 2012 and 27 June 2012? They’re not in the archive, and the puzzle for 27 June was never even posted on the Daily SuDoku Variations page.
I can’t seem to open the puzzles in the archives. When I click on them it brings me to the previous page. I was away last week and would love to catch up on the killers that I missed.
Andrea, thank you for pointing this out. I’ve experimenting with a new caching system and it’s causing some problems.
Can you see the puzzles in the archive now?
Have liked on FB. Unable to see solutions. Thanks
Same here…
The archive will likely be available only if you click on the “like” button. This requirement will probably go away in about a month or so.
I have “like” and “unlike” and “like” multiple times. I tried closing the web page and starting again. Nothing I try is working.
I still cannot see anything in the puzzle archive.
Karen, not sure why it’s not working for you. Can you access it from :00 to :30?
i’Cant too
I am having the same problem using the latest Firefox. I clicked “Like”, it accepted it, but won’t show the puzzles. Same on the Samurai page. My wife and I are huge fans of Samurai Sudoku. But we are not fans of this campaign. 🙁 I’m a busy person and don’t want to have to log in at certain times to get my puzzles!!!
Could we have easier the acces to archive ? Please ¡¡
I’ve “liked” and “unliked” several times. No puzzle archive. It’s 27 past the hour. No puzzle archive. This isn’t working.
You have been very generous in making your excellent Killer Puzzles available. Thank you for that.
But I am very sad that you have now made Facebook membership a requirement for your users. Facebook is a dangerous world to enter and I don’t intend to do so.
Presumably, to enforce this you are relying on the contents of a cookie on my PC. Also worrying.
Can we do a deal? If I buy one of your books, will you make the daily puzzle and the archive available to me?
Martin, I won’t force anyone to buy my books. You will buy them if you want to.
Instead, I’ve made the archive available to everyone 50% of the time. 🙂 So, it’s available from :00 to :30 of every hour.
Thank you very much. That’s much appreciated.
Dont work either :00-:30
Been a fan for years and recommended this site heavily. The need to facebook like in order to see the archive is a non-starter. Not referring people to the site anymore until I hear this is corrected.
No one has ever annoyed someone into liking them.
Aaron, I’ve made the Archive available to everyone from :00 to :30 every hour. 🙂
Foiled again – the 30 minutes has been reduced, without notice, to 20 minutes. Would have been OK, I went in at about 10 past and the archive link has disappeared from the Killer page, and took me ages to find it. Now 5:21 and it’s gone.
Keith, I’m sorry. Please come back in half an hour. It will work then!
Didn’t help much – was printing them off to do on the train on the way home. Had to wait until the next day.
It is 7:40 pm = no archive – this is the third time I have tried. I have bought your books for my self and others, I have followed you web site for several years – but because I DO NOT have a face book page I feel I am being punished. I hope the inconvenience placed on your fans is worth it to you.
lorraine, you are checking at the wrong time. The archive is available to everyone without the “like” button from :00 to :20 every hour!
Where is the promised Tuesday posting of the Samurai Sudoku published Sunday, Jan 6 2013 Washington Post. Every once in a while the scheduled posting does not occur. It needs to be available with out social media.
Hi Rob,
Sorry for this delay. The archive is now updated with the solutions for Samurai Sudoku puzzles from The Post.
Cheers
Can you please stop this facebook rubbish. Can you imagine that people like your site but don’t like facebook???? Your are really driving me away from you.
NO solutions at 9:02 and still none at 9:10
Liked facebook and no solutions
I missed the puzzles for April 11, 2013. I went to the archives as directed but was unable to retrieve the puzzles.

I have also liked your page on Facebook but cannot see the puzzles other than in the first 20 minutes of the hour. What is going on?
The Sudoku Variants puzzle on Thursday May 2 is not available at all. What happened?
Sorry Simon, it happens from time to time that I miss to update the daily puzzle. There is already a new one posted for Friday! 🙂
The variants puzzle on Thursday May 23 is not available in the archive again. Was there no puzzle on that day or you just forgot to update it to the archive? If the latter case can you please update it or give us the link here? Thanks!
Simon, no, there was no daily sudoku variant puzzle on that day at all. Sorry. 🙁 Will see to avoid such mishaps in the future. 🙂
Can’t see the archive – looks like the link to facebook has been switched on again. I can’t access facebook from work, where I view the puzzles. Not even any mention of the time slots that were in place for a few months.
I can’t seem to open the puzzles in the archives. When I click on them it brings me to the previous page. I was away last week and would love to catch up on the killers that I missed.Have liked on FB. Unable to see solutions. Thanks
I think they are available for the first 20 minutes of each hour. I think he said that this restriction will last for a week.
It is frustrating but they are his puzzles provided for free. And they are good.
Where are the solutions for the killer sudoku for this week. All I see are the Washington Post solutions.I have tried at various times of the hour.
I keep hoping that you will make your Kindle puzzles available for the Android Kindle app that I have on my phone. Is there any chance of that happening?
It’s going to be even better than that! My Android app is coming soon! 🙂
not killer sudoku today ? HNY ¡¡
I went on holiday 2 weeks ago and now the archive Killers and the Insane are just the same as when I went away. Are you no longer updating them? I have been downloading them weekly since you began so the loss of a fresh set to do is disturbing!
Jennifer, there are no more daily puzzles. Please read this post: Where are the daily puzzles gone?
I am trying to find a solution to the Samurai Sudoku posted in the Washington Post’s Sunday edition for this year. All I can find are solutions for last year. Will they be posted soon?
Hi Amie,
Yes yes yes, the solutions for Samurai Sudoku from The Washington Post are now there! Sorry for this delay! 🙂
Looking forward to February, 2015 Washington Post solutions. Thanks.
Is there any way to access previous years’ solutions? I need 10/12/14. Thanks!
Seems like there should be multiple solutions to the March 20 puzzle. Am I wrong?
Hi Steven, please be more specific. Which March 20 (what year?) puzzle are you referring to? Where was it published and what kind of a puzzle is it? Then I can answer your question.
I’m referring to the March 20, 2016 Samurai Sudoku puzzle in the Washington Post. You can solve the four corner and center boxes of the middle sudoku without solving the remaining four boxes. This leads to four possible solutions (I believe).
Thanks!
Steven, I don’t think that’s correct, but you never know, it might be. Please send me at least two complete solutions of the whole puzzle and then I will check. I still think that the March 20 puzzle has one solution only.
Where are 2018 solutions?
Thank you for your message. The solutions have now been posted! Sorry for the delay!
Yes,
I’m looking for the 2018 solutions also. Will appreciate when you get the website updated and the 2018 solutions posted.
Thanks
Thank you for your message. The solutions have now been posted! Sorry for the delay!
Thanks for 1/7 and 1/14. Now for January 21 solution?
I’m attempting the Washington Post Samurai Sudoku from March 18, 2018 — it’s listed as a Level 2…and I don’t see how that it’s possible. Please tell me that’s a typo? I can usually finish a level 2 in a day or so, but I haven’t even been able to complete a solid row yet?
Hi Ellebeie, I’m not gonna say that the assigned level is a typo. Instead, I’m going to give you a hint: you should start solving this puzzle from the center! That’s perhaps unusual and that’s why you can’t get a break. Focus on the hidden singles for 7s, 8s, 9s, 2s and eventually 6s. If you need more help I can certainly provide it. Please let me know how you go! Cheers
I’m looking for the solution for the January 6, 2019 puzzle. When will it be posted?
