A new feature on this site – FORUM

Filed under: General — djape @ 9:01 am

Well, after nearly 1000 comments have been written to various posts on this site, I think it’s time to provide you with a better way to communicate.

Therefore, I just opened up a forum.

I’m pretty sure you are all familiar with phpBB forums so you won’t have problems using it. One thing, though, you must register to post messages.

In the next few days I will close comments on the Daily Killer and Daily Sudoku pages so please start moving your discussions into the forum.

I am looking for the solution to a samurai sodulo puzzle in the Express Newspaper for the Washington Metro on Monday November 20. 2006 or Friday November 17. 2006.

  3. djape says:

Patty, we only post solutions to puzzles from The Washington Post, not from The Washington Express. That’s the deal we have with them.

  4. Elaine says:

Having difficulty with generating killer puzzle. When I try to enter a cage total and move on to the next, the cage total reverts back to “0.” Is there a page on this forum that reflects how to accomplish this.

  5. Djape says:

    Elaine,

You need to press “ENTER” after typing in the cage total.

    Djape.

  6. Michael Katz says:

    Hi DJape,
Thanks for a daily dose of entertainment. I’ve switched to the “Square Wisodm” puzzles from the “Killers”.

    Questions:
    1. Why are the solutions released the next day? I liked the doing the killers with the solution avaialble, because I do not have enough time to find out at the end that I erred in the beginning.

    2. Youe Ken Ken calculator is very helpful. Unfortunately, I travel a lot and don’t always have access to it. Any possibility for a ditributable version?

    Thanks,
    Michael
